Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a predominantly ground-based martial art. Jiu jitsu focuses on close-contact “grappling” holds and techniques, and the application of chokes and joint-manipulations.
K1/Thaiboxing
This class is dedicated to practicing form when throwing and blocking kicks, as well as punches.

Meet the head coach
Paul started his martial arts journey as a teenager, firstly training in kickboxing before beginning Tae Kwon Do. He competed in tournaments regularly until competing in the 2004 AIMAA World Championships, where he managed to win double gold and double bronze.
He then made the move to training in Mixed Martial Arts in 2006, having his first MMA Fight in 2007. He competed in MMA for the next 10 years having his final fight in 2017.
After this he transitioned into coaching and officiating, having received his certification as a qualified MMA coach and Judge that year. He continued to coach his club, Limerick Mixed Martial Arts, for the next couple of years, until leaving to travel and train abroad.
Now back living in Ireland, his Martial Arts journey continues in Kenmare with Ring of Kerry Martial Arts.
